From initial consultation, deployment to on-going support and maintenance, Koi Computers' data center integration team provides a complete end-to-end turnkey solution. 

Initial Design 

During the initial design process, our data center integration team will work with you to configure the most suitable hardware platform for your underlying applications.  Our experienced team of experts will help you in designing the right solution that meets your computing requirements, as well as selecting the right switch and PDU confiurations to optimize rack dimensions, cabling arrangements and PDU selections for on-site deployment. Engaging our team early will ensure a complete solution that meets your datacenter requirements. 

Power Consumption 

Our team will work with you to configure servers and equipment that will meet your power constraints.  Power consumption is assessed utilizing both 120V AC and 240V AC inputs, and are calculated for maximum and actual power utilization of the solution.  OUr team will provide power consumption reports to ensure that you maximize your server usage and density, and decrease the solution footprint to decrease the total cost of ownership.  

Recommend System Configuration 

After working with you on the initial design and analyzing any power consumption constraints, our team will create a complete configuration with all of the recommended servers, components, and other equipment that meets both your budget and your needs.  As part of this system configuration, we will also provide a recommended rack and network layout for your datacenter. 


Our team assembles all servers and nodes in-house in our ISO 9001:2008 (with design) Certified production facility.  Additionally, all servers and nodes can be labeled and documented as requested by the customer. 

Rack and Stack 

Based on the rack and network layout, our team will securely mount servers, switches, PDUs, and other accessories to the racks.   Additionally, all cables and power cords will be wired accordingly, and each with a clearly labeled unique identifier.  


BIOS Settings, Firmware, and IPMI Settings 

After a solution is completed, each node will be updated with the latest BIOS, Firmware and IPMI settings and will be updated based on the customer's preferences.  Our team can also load operating systems and customer images onto each node.  This saves our customers time and effort allowing them flexibility to deploy their resources to their core application. 


Multi-vendor equipment involved with the integration process will be tested for compatibility with their related server/nodes, networking devices and other components. This further reduces system and human error and ensures the quality of our solution and hardware platform.  After the multi-vendor equipment has been tested for compatibility, a full rack burn-in test will be performed for a standard 24 hours or a testing length preferred by the customer and validated according to our professional quality assurance procedures. This guarantees the reliability of the solution during extended periods in an optimized running environment.  During this testing process, our team will also perform a full rack power measurement evaluation. This will further reduce any unexpected errors such as power surges and ensure reliability and optimal stability of our end-to-end solution.

Performance Benchmarks
After all the above tests have been performed, a performance benchmark report will be generated and evaluated. Through this step, we can provide solution integration with a consistently high level of quality through an end-to-end validation test, extended burn-in, and test record.
